Award winning PMG shipyard Thailand boat building business first established in 2004 specialising in the construction of monohull boats and luxury catamarans, both sail and power, ranging from 41ft to 120ft LOA.

PMG Shipyard has direct sea access via its own launching ramp which has a maximum weight of 160 tons. Eight production halls, four of which are 50 x 12 metres in size with a ceiling height of 12 metres, a test pool, travel lift and launch vehicle. In addition, it has offices, a dedicated CNC room and separate workshops for carpentry, steel works, and upholstery. The shipyard has a total area of approx. 20,800m2 overall with the capacity to accommodate several large catamarans in production simultaneously.

In 2013 PMG proudly manufactured the Heliotrope 65, the first luxury solar assisted catamaran in the world, and has continued to expand to fulfil the ever-growing demand for e-powered and solar assisted luxury yachts on a production, custom and refit basis. Its highly regarded and specialist workforce has built several solar e-powered vessels for leading European, American and New Zealand yacht brands. In addition, it builds sailing yachts and diesel-powered vessels for both commercial and military applications. It is licensed to build under The Thailand Governments Board of Investment (BOI) duty and tax exempt conditions.

PMG Shipyard is strategically located on the eastern seaside of the Gulf of Thailand close to the commercial deep seaport of Map Ta Phut and Laem Chabang. It is situated within a beachside industrial zone in the city of Rayong 30 minutes from U-Tapao Pattaya International Airport.

The Ocean Marina Yacht Club in Pattaya, the largest yacht club in Southeast Asia, can be reached by car in 60 minutes. The deep seaport of Laem Chabang, from where most yachts are shipped, is 90 minutes away by car. It takes 2 hours on the motorway to go to Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok, and another half hour to downtown Bangkok. A high-speed railway is currently under construction which will reduce the travel time to Bangkok to around one hour.
