The lifting specialist Royal Van Beest Group has acquired Netherlands-based Enduro Softslings.
Established 10 years ago, Enduro Softslings manufactures heavy duty High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (HMPE) softslings. The custom-made soft slings include the easyquip crane and construction slings and HMPE webbing slings made from high-quality woven webbing material which is light, durable and has little stretch. Manufactured in the workshop in De Goorn, they are resistant to almost all chemicals, salt and fresh water.

Founded in 1922, the Royal Van Beest Group is the manufacturer of components for lifting, lashing and mooring applications. Encompassing the Green Pin®, Irizar Forge, Heuer Hebetechnik and Sling Supply Intl. brands, it has 300 employees, and HQ in the Netherlands, as well as branches in Germany, France, Spain, Brazil and the USA.
The Green Pin® production facility and distribution centre are located on the Rhine waterfront in Sliedrecht, the Netherlands.
Royal Van Beest’s chain fitting production facility is located in Celles sur Durolle, Auvergne. The company started producing hooks at this location in 1987. All products were rebranded to Green Pin® in 2019.
The company’s range of forged crane components, such as hooks, sheaves and blocks are manufactured at the Irizar Forge in Lazkao, Spain, with forging capabilities producing crane hooks to a maximum weight of 18,000 kg.
The Heuer Hebetechnik facility is located in Iserlohn, in the Ruhr Region of Germany and, from this facility, Heuer Hebetechnik can supply hooks with a size up to 320 (DIN).

Following the acquisition, Enduro Softslings will continue to operate as an independent entity within the Royal Van Beest Group. Sytse van der Molen will remain Managing Director of Enduro Softslings.
