Koç Holding completes acquisition of Göcek Marinas
Koç Holding has completed the acquisition of Turkish Göcek Village Port Marina and Göcek Exclusive Port Marina, along with associated hotel assets, for $157.7 million USD, through its subsidiary Tek-Art Marina.
Gocek Exclusive Marina, in Poruklu Bay in Fethiye/Mugla, offers secure mooring and services to yachts from 18 to 50m on floating docks, with superyachts, including rapid set up, available up to 70m. Other services include launch and haul-out, dry docking, fuel supply, winterising, and maintenance.
The adjacent Göcek Village Port Marina is located in Büngüş Bay and offers mooring services, electricity, laundry, a gas station and a boatyard equipped with a 40-tonne boat carrier and 75- and 200-tonne travel lifts. Additional facilities include a supermarket, travel agency and taxi service.
Koç Holding is an investment holding company in Turkey, operating since 1926. Tek-Art Marina, Koc Holding’s subsidiary, is responsible for its maritime investments.
As part of the agreement, Koc Holding has taken over the operating rights from Yildiz Holding—50% owned by the Ulker family—and Saglam Insaat, which holds the remaining 50% of the marina operations.
The marinas’ land usage rights are valid until the end of 2033, while sea usage rights are secured until 2073.
The company purchased all shares of Beta Marina Liman Yat ve Çekek İşletmeciliği A.Ş. (Beta), and 50% of MCI Turizm Marina Yat ve Çekek İşletmesi A.Ş. (MCI) and RAM Turizm Marina Yat ve Çekek İşletmesi A.Ş. (RAM).
Following the acquisition, Tek-Art Marina will have full control of Beta and indirect control of MCI and RAM, giving it operational authority over both Göcek Village Port Marina and Göcek Exclusive Port Marina, as well as the hotel properties.
The share purchase agreement was signed in July 2025, and the transaction was completed after all closing conditions and regulatory approvals were met. Koç Holding received regulatory clearance in November 2025.
In February, Koc Holding also signed a contract for the Fenerbahce-Kalamis Marina tender in Istanbul, where its subsidiary Tek-Art secured the 40-year operating rights of the marina with a $504 million bid.
