DESMI, a global leader in pump and flow solutions across the marine, defense, aquaculture and industry sector, has acquired Nordan Marine, strengthening DESMI’s commitment to deliver top-tier flow solutions and services, with a particular focus on the maritime industry.
Founded in 1834, DESMI provides critical flow solutions, delivering pump technologies for energy, marine, defence, industrial, and environmental sectors. It has offices in 21 countries and more than 1,100 employees.
This acquisition will enable DESMI to expands its market presence, enhancing its portfolio of gas cargo and fuel-pump solutions, which now includes advanced technologies for emerging fuel types. It aligns with DESMI’s long-term promise of ‘Making Life Flow’ through sustainable and efficient solutions, for which a global service network is key.

Nordan Marine is a provider of comprehensive service and repair solutions for cargo and fuel handling systems in the maritime industry, including those used for LPG, LEG carriers, as well as LNG and alternative fuel-capable vessels. With solutions for cargo pumps, safety valves, and centrifugal pump, including Deepwell pumps, Booster pumps, Centrifugal pumps, and Safety Relief Valves, it delivers cost-effective solutions to enhance productivity in the marine and offshore industries.
