British adventure company and marine boat builder Arksen has acquired Kraken Travel, a marine adventure company. New initiative Arksen Adventures has subsequently launched, offering sustainable travel expeditions across the globe.
Arksen builds vessels designed for exploration, within its Explorer, Adventure and Discovery series. The company also offers a fully-crewed Arksen 85 in a fractional ownership program, as well as custom builds.

Kraken Travel was founded by Henry Burkitt in 2017, and offers sustainable sailing adventures, including Tall Ship experiences, yacht charters, and tours to the Arctic and Indonesia.
Burkitt commented:

Using both companies’ expertise, Arksen Adventures will provide an end-to-end booking process, catering to all levels of adventure experience.
Joining the expert team at Kraken is military and expedition professional Jay Morton as Expedition Director across both marine and land-based tours. Morton will lead Arksen’s expedition itinerary, focusing on remote environments and supporting scientific research and conservation initiatives.
