Dean & Reddyhoff has acquired Deacons Marina

Deacons Marina is now part of the Dean & Reddyhoff Family. The Fuller family have owned Deacons for over 50 years, and the yard itself was established in the 1920s. Deacons has 130 berths and 150 boatyard places, and a dedicated and experienced team.

The prime location on the Hamble increases the range of berthing options we can offer our customers, and we will be able to offer the full benefits of the Dean & Reddyhoff network to Deacons berth holders from April onwards.
Importantly, Deacons brings with it skills and expertise in boat service and repair, as well as a boatyard in the Solent that will allow us to offer our Solent-based customers full service berthing and boat care.
The two companies have been working closely together for the last year, with Deacons offering boatyard services to Dean & Reddyhoff Solent-based berth holders.

Deacons Managing Director Lucas Shotts will become a Director at Dean & Reddyhoff, developing boat care services at Deacons and Portland boat yards.  “Being part of the larger Dean & Reddyhoff group offers great opportunities for our customers, our staff and our on-site tenants” he said.
Rachael Foster will move from Haslar Marina to become the new marina manager at Deacons, working closely with the existing yard manager Nick Gill. Lucas Shotts becomes a director of Dean & Reddyhoff, responsible for boat care services across the group.
