Company: Integra Marinas, Williams Island Marina
Business Type: Marina Operator
Located mid-way between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, the property marks Integra’s ninth marina acquisition to date and its sixth active marina alongside partner BLG Capital Advisors and other private investors. Integra acquired the marina from H. Scott Huizenga, who led the marina throughout his ownership since 2004.
The acquisition of Williams Island Marina further elevates Integra Marinas’ portfolio of best-in-class assets in premier boating markets. Situated within the 2,000-resident master-planned Williams Island community, the marina spans 14 acres and offers 106 wet slips, constructed with a combination of fixed and floating concrete docks. It is capable of berthing vessels up to 160 feet in length with unobstructed deep-water access from the Intracoastal Waterway.
The marina boasts a unique, protected harbour and a surrounding extensive amenity offering. The community of Williams Island offers boaters the opportunity to access the Williams Island Club, which includes a spa and fitness centre, multiple dining venues, tennis and pickleball courts, and an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. The marina also includes a boutique office space, featuring a private gym, locker rooms and a lounge available for the exclusive use of boat owners, captains, and crew.
Cory Yeffet, a Principal with Integra Investments, said:
“The acquisition of Williams Island Marina is a testament to our core strategy of selectively growing our marina portfolio with the best assets in top boating markets.
“Having grown up in the surrounding neighborhood, it’s exciting to build upon Integra’s past success – Aventura ParkSquare – and continue our investment in the Aventura community.”
Integra Marinas is a vertically integrated owner, developer, and operator of premier marinas in key coastal boating markets, with over 1,500 berths on the platform. Integra Marinas has committed hundreds of millions in capital investment to date, and is focused on providing a superior, boater-focused experience across its portfolio. The firm’s portfolio includes marinas in the Florida Keys, Miami, Tampa Bay, Jensen Beach, and Rhode Island.
Victor Ballestas, a Principal with Integra Investments, commented:
“Williams Island Marina is fully occupied year-round, showcasing the tremendous demand for a high-quality marina in an incredibly high-barrier-to-entry market.
“This marina is an anchor asset in our growing portfolio and our second in Miami. We’re excited to operate, enhance, and enjoy Williams Island as active boaters ourselves.”
Oasis Marinas, a leading marina management company, will manage the property.
