Consolite Technology Limited acquired by Glamox

Glamox has entered into an agreement to acquire Consolite Technology Limited, a UK specialist in military lighting and optical communication systems.

The acquisition accelerates Glamox’s defence growth strategy by adding advanced technologies, specialist engineering expertise and long-standing customer relationships. It further expands Glamox’s ability to support naval and defence customers with innovative, mission-critical lighting solutions.

Consolite Technology Limited, based in Zeals, Wiltshire, is a specialist in advanced defence lighting solutions with more than 40 years of experience serving naval and military customers. The company, founded in 1980, develops and manufactures Night Vision Goggle (NVG) compatible lighting and filters, military LiFi systems and specialist LED lighting solutions for demanding defence applications.

The company is also a supplier to major UK naval programmes, including the Type 31 frigate programme and Royal Navy fleet replenishment projects.

It owns a range of quality lighting brands, including Glamox, Aqua Signal, ES-SYSTEM, Küttel, LINKSrechts, LiteIP, Luminell, Luxo, Luxonic, MARL, Norselight, and Wasco.
