Marine Trailer Performance, which supplies boat trailer components, has been acquired by Lippert Components Inc. through its wholly owned subsidiary, Kinro Texas Inc.
Marine Trailer Performance (MTP), based in Texas, US, manufactures trailer axles, axle lubrication systems, hydraulic brake actuators and performance disc brakes for the recreational boat trailer market. The acquisition is said to improve Lippert’s axle portfolio, allowing it to provide innovative axle solutions to OEMs who manufacture both boats and boat trailers, as well as aftermarket dealers and distributors.
Nick Lenzi, former MTP president and CEO, will take on a new role as Vice President of marine axle sales at Lippert. He said:

Lippert Components, with its HQ in Indiana, US, manufactures and supplies boat accessories and components, including fenders, anchors, glazing systems, shades and biminis to the OEM market and aftermarket.
This acquisition will ensure Lippert’s ability to deliver innovative solutions to a broader range of customers, according to the company.
