United Safety, a global manufacturer of safety and survivability technology solutions, has announced the acquisition of marine shock mitigation technology specialist Allsalt Maritime.
Allsalt Maritime is a design, manufacturing, and R&D firm specialising in marine shock mitigation technology, with locations in Canada, the US, the UK, and Singapore. Founded in 2007, its premium-quality suspension seating is designed for high speed watercraft. The technical team leads the industry with experience delivering proven solutions for real world challenges, through a combination of sea trials, lab testing, science and engineering.
Allsalt Maritime, known for its Shoxs product line of impact-mitigation seating, introduced Kinetix in 2019, a shock-monitoring solution that captures wave impacts and delivers real-time data for maritime agencies to adopt a proactive strategy for crew safety and vessel health. Utilised across a spectrum of marine applications including military, commercial and recreational marine, Allsalt’s seating can be found on vessels around the globe, including the United States Navy, Royal Navy, Coast Guards and Special Forces.

United Safety has provided industrial safety products, safety consulting and safety training since 1987, servicing both the upstream and downstream sectors of the oil and gas industry.
