SeaFront Marine Group has acquired Lymington-based retailer Nick Cox Yacht Chandler, in a bid to expand its core business and services.
The group, based in Hampshire, focuses on distribution, sales and servicing of marine products, and this acquisition of Nick Cox Yacht Chandler will expand its portfolio in these areas.
SeaFront Marine Group was established in 2018, and encompasses three subsidiary companies – C-Front Trading, a distributor of boat maintenance products; Spares marine, an online company offering product spares, information and support from leading marine brands; and YouBoat, a Gosport-based chandlery.

Nick Cox Yacht Chandler is based in Lymington Yacht Haven and has been owned and operated by Matt and Liz Evans since 2005. It took its name from the previous owner Nick Cox who ran the business from 1985 until his death, and the Nick Cox name will continue.
Matt Evans will remain as general manager at Nick Cox while Liz becomes operations manager of SeaFront Marine Group across all the retail businesses.
