Walcon Marine announces the Acquisition of UK Pontoon Specialist
Devon based Docking Solutions has been sold by its parent company Baltic Wharf Limited
Docking Solutions, the UK-based manufacturer of heavy-duty pontoons and commercial-grade bridges, has been sold by its parent company Baltic Wharf Limited to Walcon Marine Limited a market leader in the design, manufacture and installation of berthing facilities, marinas and yacht harbours around the world.
Docking Solutions pontoons use twin tubular steel floats braced by welded cross tubes for exceptional strength and durability, mounted in a catamaran configuration. They can be fabricated to almost any length and size, and in high-freeboard configurations.

Colin Bower, managing director of Docking Solutions, adds:

Existing Docking Solutions customers include harbour and port authorities, search and rescue services and the UK’s Ministry of Defence (MoD), as well as marinas serving leisure users.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
