ACQ Group, the yacht services agency, has acquired YachtMind, specialists in AI innovations for superyacht crew and shore professionals, further strengthening ACQ Group’s position as a leader in innovation and operational excellence within the yachting industry.
As part of the acquisition, Fabrizio Ottoni Limena, CEO and founder of YachtMind, has been appointed the new Chief Technology Officer of ACQ Group. YachtMind will now becomes a Group brand and its internal software house.
Headquartered in Venice, ACQ Group was founded by Stefano Tositti and offers yacht services across three brands – Acquera Yachting encompasses all aspects of yachting services, such as berthing, provisioning, onboard services, and more. It offers also exclusive local experiences for both guests and crew on board including restaurant reservations, tailored tours, and custom visits.
Squisito offers top-quality provisioning on board, whilst Acquera Club, an exclusive annual membership club, provides unique experiences worldwide throughout the year, with a dedicated personal manager.
Coverage includes Gibraltar, Spain and the Balearics, France and Monaco, Italy, Malta, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, Greece (including Cyprus), and Turkey. Its Caribbean network covers all the main hotspots with offices in Sint Maarten, Anguilla, Saint Barth, Antigua, Dominica, Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. In the Middle East, the Group serves Egypt, Oman, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Bahrain.
Fabrizio Ottoni Limena has been developing technology for over 20 years, specialising in data analytics, business intelligence, and transactional chatbots. He founded YachtMind, a company offering AI-based solutions for the yachting industry and will now lead technological development at ACQ Group. He said:
